Searching for the light

Part 6

In Vännäs and  in
 the Fairy Tale Land

 

He, he, here I was not dark olive. I became green in the green light of the Fairy tale land. Real cool :)
2012-01-05. We went on a winter trip to Vännäs. Happy Dark Olive Foxy just got off the train in Vännäs.
2012-01-05.  I still needed to search for the light because it seems that we never will get outlet on the balcony fixed. this make me so sad :-(  But nobody can destroy Gods light. God let the low sunlight shine on our balcony.
2012-01-05.  Now I should go to a place there they HAVE electric outlet in the garden and on the terrace. Here I'm inside the railroad station waiting for the train.
2012-01-05.  Ove on the station in Umeå. There are heaters under the platform. But on the railroad they need to plow away the snow.

2012-01-05.  It was dusk but I still I saw wonderful veiws from the train, like these beautiful fir trees.

2012-01-05. Near Vännäs the train stopped in the woods. We had to wait for the signal. The woods were beautiful.

2012-01-05. There was an advent candle in the window of the hotel room.
2012-01-05.  We saw this house from our hotel room. It was a real nice old house. There are jackdaws sitting on the fence by the house.
2012-01-05.  The jackdaws were so funny. On this picture jackdaws and small birds.
2012-01-05.  Now it's dark. Below our window is a little parking lot that belongs to the hotel. A flood light is shining over it. Here it was snowed over but the next day the tractor came to take the snow away.
2012-01-05.  There was a little garden by the hotel. We could see this beautiful tree from the restaurant.
2012-01-05.  There were lights on the fence of the veranda. I took this picture through the window.  Yes this veranda had an electric outlet and could have light on the fence. I could see this from the table we had in the restaurant.

2012-01-05.  This was a big Christmas ball with lights inside.
2012-01-05.  We had a 3 course dinner. They made the table so nice.
2012-01-05.  A real linen napkin with a beautiful golden ribbon on it.

2012-01-05.  The head course char and vegetables and ravioli filled with shrimps.
2012-01-05.  The dessert. The square is liquorice and pears and vanilla ice-cream with chocolate.
2012-01-06.  The next morning I took a new picture of the trees in the garden. Now it was getting light.
2012-01-06. They had 2 Christmas trees.

2012-01-06.  There came a lot of snow. In Vännäs they had about  50 centimetre snow.

2012-01-06. It was gorgeous to see the snow and white frost from the bus. But this picture is taken in our street. I had not a place by the window in the bus. We could not sit together and non of us had a place by the window. So I could not take pictures.
 I saw the moon on the left side of the bus and the sun on the right side.  I took these pictures some years ago when I was walking in winter wonderland.

2012-01-07.  There was glistening snow an ice on the trees.
2012-01-07. This icy tree was gorgeous!

2012-01-07.  The Christmas tree on the yard was gorgeous. But the scaffolding is still by our house. S :-(
2012-01-07.  Now they had put on the green light in the fairy tale land. And I became green :-)
2012-01-07.  Some parents had made a little path so the children could reach the play ground and play in the snow. And I also could use the path so I could take pictures.

2012-01-07.  You can see our house behind the shed and also the top of the Christmas tree.
2012-01-07.  It was cold -10 Celsius. And a cold wind was blowing. I was hiding in my hood and then took this picture there you only see my jacket and my hood.
When the workers made this heart I did not know yet that this was a sign.
A sign that told I should get the light back on the balcony on Valentine. 2012-04-14.

2012-04-14. Me, Rödluvan Foxy pointing on the outlet. I fel relieved that I finally can get use the outlet.

But I have to wait for December 2012. Now you could not buy Christmas lights. And soon it should be light outside and you don't need lights.

That time I did not want to think about the next Christmas.  I wanted to think about the coming spring and summer.
