Foxy and the geese part 7 2008 |
Ha, ha, ha! :-) 2008-09-21. Me, by the Mariehem pond, feeling happy. I took this picture by putting out my arms and holding the camera in front of my face. A cold autumn wind was blowing and the sky was grey. I needed my hood. |
|
It was on an early Sunday morning when I was out. The autumn colours were wonderful. The sun was shining
I should walk to the geese, but the walk began with a cat meeting. The Cat Pelle was out with his mom.
Pelle's brother, Skorpan was also out. He always want to be pet. And Foxy pet him.
Here Skorpan is checking out the birch.
I saw these white berries on my walk.
A close-up picture of the berries.
Now the rose hip bush had got berries.
I did remembered the bumblebee that was in the dog rose in summer. This picture taken in July.
Now the flower had changed into a rose hip.
I came to the woods. | |
The path in the woods and the fields in the background.
The path in the woods and the fields in the background.
On this place in the woods I heard the woodpecker in summer.
The sun disappeared and suddenly there was mist over the fields.
The mist made, there was no contrast on the pictures
More mist. | |
But the landscape looked beautiful in the mist.
But I remembered how the landscape looked in summer.
I remembered how the fields and the creek looked in summer. This picture is taken in July.
The pond is behind this hill.
I saw from the hill how people were feeding the ducks and the geese.
A telephoto lens picture. The geese were camouflaged :)
The tame ducks saw me coming.
They came running to me.
After it the geese saw me.
And they came running to me.
Now I had the gaggle around me again :-)
Here the Skåne geese got food.
The Skåne geese waiting for more food. Geese are always hungry :-)
I did not see the Barnacle goose and the Canada goose. I looked around. They were on the other side of the pond.
I had to go around the pond to come at the other side. Then the Barnacle goose and the Canada goose were in the water.
The Barnacle goose and 2 ducks.
This looks so wonderful.
The tame ducks saw I was on the other side of the pond. They came flying over the pond and went begging for more bread.
The Barnacle goose and the Canada goose came on land again and went walking to me.
Walking geese and a walking duck.
The Barnacle goose took my bread.
He was walking to me. | |
Waiting for more bread.
He got more bread. | |
Two tame ducks on their way to the pond.
The Barnacle goose was walking to me. But then this a duck was standing in his way.
The Barnacle goose, the Canada goose and some mallards.
Both got more bread. | |
The Barnacle goose and the Canada
goose kept together the whole summer. Former years the Barnacls goose was
alone. But after I in winter found the Barnacle goose by the hospital pond, and the farmer took care of that goose, the Canada goose got a friend. |
|
Time say goodbye and walked home again. The sky and pond looked grey. It became cloudy after the mist.
I remembered how clear the sky was and how blue the pond was in summer. This picture was taken in July.
The path that goes over the hill.
The path in autumn. | |
Autumn colours in the woods. I remembered the wild flowers that were there in summer.
Then there were fireweeds in the woods. This picture was taken in July.
I came to the houses at Berghem again and saw this gorgeous tree.
Now there were red leaves on the bushes.
While I was walking in the street I was thinking about my friend that I called "Barnacle".
But I should meet him and his friends one more time this year.
