Foxy in Örnsköldsvik 2010-09-21
A happy  Red Foxy by the bay in Örnsköldsvik.
We went on a bus trip to Örnsköldsvik. Unfortunately it was raining when the bus was going around a lake and the guide was telling about the landscape and the villages. We could not se much of the lake and the landscape. Here I'm getting off the bus by a church
The bus stopped by the Själevads Church that is lying on a hill.
We walked around in the church and kept dry because it still was raining.

We had a good dinner in a restaurant. Chicken, fried potatoes and mushroom sauce.

The rain stopped and we could go out on a walk. This is the new railroad station in Örnsköldsvik.

Wa walked by the bay. This time the sky was grey because there were heavy clouds. There was no wind and the water was smooth.

It was beautiful even though it was cloudy.
The Fjällräven stadium. The trade mark of my red jacket is "Fjällräven". that name is on the stadium because Fjällräven is settled in the town Örnsköldsvik and they sponsor the sport stadium.

We walked through a sky walk over the street.
On the market place is a sculpture. A horse pulling a sledge.

We went down the stairs and made a wonderful walk in the park.
There is a sculpture of an eagle in the fountain. It's made of the artist Bruno Liljefors. There use to be wonderful flowers around the fountain. But these are all gone this time of the year.
There were still green leaves and flowers. But these were the last flowers for the season.

This house was called "The Stockholm house". Because in Stockholm there are a lot of buildings like this house.
This house was before a museum. Now it was a kind of culture house and you could drink coffee there and let a guide tell about Örnsköldsvik.
