Berlin A
On the road, sight seeing and The Berlin Wall

2012-04-27. Woods in Germany. Now we were on our way to Berlin.
2012-04-27.  Suddenly there was a STOP on the auto bahn. Later we could move on very slowly.
2012-04-27. Later we knew the reason. A car run into a truck and another car in the first car. The police was there.
2012-04-27. The German police.
2012-04-27. Finally we came to Berlin.
2012-04-27. We should eat in this restaurant, "Alt Berliner Bier Saloon". The tour leader had to call them that we were delayed.
2012-04-27.Fortunately we could still eat there even though it became late. We all were very hungry. We got good food. A delicious schnitzel and warm potato salad.
2012-04-27. We had a good beer. I liked the Berliner Kindl beer very much. But we cannot buy it in the stores in Sweden.
2012-04-27. Ove at lunch in the restaurant "Alt Berliner Bier Saloon".
2012-04-27. After the lunch we walked in some streets to a place there our bus was parked.
2012-04-27. I enjoyed the green trees in Berlin so much.

2012-04-26. There were so many nice trees in Berlin. I liked this town very much.
2012-04-26. This was funny. A special store there you can buy German Christmas decorations (also when it's not Christmas). But these decorations did not look the same as the Swedish Christmas decorations.
2012-04-26. I thought it was fun to take pictures of some street names.

2012-04-27. Also this tree is gorgeous.
2012-04-27. There were many sight seeing buses. But we got the sight seeing in our own bus. And we got a guide who could speak Swedish. She came in our bus to tell about Berlin.
2012-04-27.  The pictures of the streets are taken through the bus window. Sometimes you can see the reflections from the window in the pictures. But I wanted to remember Berlin and we could not go out all the time.

The pink pipes you see in Berlin are for removing the groundwater.

2012-04-27. They took down the wall for many years ago. But saved a bit of it for the history.

2012-04-27. I don't know all the names of the building we saw. The guide told about some of them but it was difficult to remember everything.

2012-04-2 7. An old building. Berlin has not so much old buildings. Almost the whole town was destroyed in the war.

2012-04-27. I like the beige colour of the taxies in Berlin. I own a Fjällräven jacket in the same colour.
This is my beige jacket. But I had not it with my on the trip to Berlin. I had my green jacket.
