Trip home through Germany and Sweden

2012-04-28.  We left Berlin.
2012-04-28. And soon we were in the line of cars on the auto bahn.
2012-04-28. It took time. Here a car in another lane on the auto bahn.
2012-04-28. The rape fields were beautiful.
2012-04-28. Here they hade covered the fields with a kind of fabric.
2012-04-28.  The bus left the auto bahn and drove on a smaller country road.
2012-04-28. It was beautiful there. They had cows in the meadow.

2012-04-28. Suddenly we came to a fence. The road was closed for roadwork. The bus had to drive on a small bike- an walking path. People looked amazed when our big bus passed there.
2012-04-28. Fortunately we came out of it. And were on a country road again.
2012-04-28. Vi passed a village and I saw a stork on a chimney. This was real exciting. But I could not get a picture of this. All these country pictures were taken from the bus window and it passed by too fast.

2012-04-28. I enjoyed the small daisies in the grass very much. We have not these in the north of Sweden.

2012-04-28. We had delicious ice cream in the café. I had blackcurrant and strawberry.

2012-04-28. We were waiting for the buss driver to open the buss. A cold wind was blowing and I needed my hood.
2012-04-28. We were waiting in the bus to get aboard on the boat TT like Nils Holgerson that should take us to from Travemünde in Germany to Trelleborg in Sweden.

2012-04-28. We were relaxing and had a beer. Ove was typing on his tablet computer and I was writing in my journal.

2012-04-29. When the boat came to the harbour in Sweden we had to go done inside the boat to the cargo (stowage) space and go on our bus. Normally you have to WALK from the boat and you meet the bus outside when it has left the boat. This was hard for us. It was difficult to find the bus between all the trucks.
2012-04-29. We drove through the landscape Skåne and later we came to the lake Vättern.

2012-04-29. They make candy sticks that are named "polkagris" = peppermint stick. But nowadays they make these sticks in all kind of tastes.
2012-04-29. They also made them as small candies.
2012-04-29. This is the original peppermint stick. I did not buy anything because I don't eat candies.

2012-04-29. The female Buddha Quan Yin is believed to help with healing. When placed within a room she is said to cleanse the environment of negative influences. (such as disruptive issues, illness and arguments) Quan Yin is the eternal protector of children. she also represents universal compassion and love.
2012-04-29. Inside is a museum. But it was already closed for the day. and we should not have had time to go there. We only were to stretch our legs a while.

2012-04-29. We went to Älvkarlaö herrgård. (mansion)

2012-04-29. We had salmon with pesto sauce, boiled potatoes and peas.
2012-04-29. As dessert we had a chocolate cake with fresh berries.
2012-04-29. It was very peaceful by the water.
2012-04-29. But there were no leaves on the trees yet.

2012-04-30. We came home at 02.00 at night. We were happy to come home. I bought 2 CD. One in Prague with Czech folk music (the white CD) and a box with a set of German popular songs. I bought the German CD's in CITTI in Lübeck.
