The reindeer 1

2018-03-07. No, I have no more food :)
2018-03-07. Here I was going down on my knees. I did this because the man who took the picture should get both me and the reindeer in the distance on the picture.
2018-03-07. They had the Sami week at Gammlia. They decorated the paths on a festive way
2018-03-07. Here I made the picture darker so you can see how nice the candles are shining.
2018-03-07. They also had small fire places so you could warm your hands.
2018-03-07. The South Sami house. There was a fire in the house and also a fire on this fireplace.
2018-03-07. This is a copy of the old Kalvträsk skies. The real ones are in the museum.
This picture of me with the copy of old skies was taken 2017-03-08. That day it was snowing.
2018-03-07. The woods Sami House, over snowed. It was not open.
2018-03-07. The North Sami House. Today it was open. But they did no lit the stove in the house.
2018-03-07. I had a sandwich in the café of the museum. It tasted delicious.
2018-03-07. After eaten my sandwich I looked at the ski trail. But nobody was skiing there. It was rather cold that day.
2018-03-07. Much snow in the sheep pasture. In winter they can't have farmer animals here. The farmers have the animals inside in winter.
2018-03-07. The reindeer pasture. This year they brought reindeer to the pasture. The fence is high so the reindeer will not jump over it.

2018-03-07. This was a reindeer calf. His name is Blixten. He was so sweet :)

2018-03-07. This is the reindeer Bob.
2018-03-07. Bob has only one antler, but he soon will loose it. In winter the reindeer loose their antlers. And in autumn they have new antlers again.

2018-03-07. Reindeer are not as horses. They were in former times wild animas. Now the reindeer owns of the Sami. But they are going wild in the mountains.
2018-03-07. But these reindeer are tame and used to show up for tourists. The Sami cares very well for the reindeer.
2018-03-07. The Sami takes the reindeer to the pasture.

2018-03-07. Now the reindeer are going through a gate to the pasture.
2018-03-07. Here the reindeer may go loose.
2018-03-07. There were 4 reindeer. All are on the picture. 3 of them in distance. Bob in the foreground.
2018-03-07.  The children wanted to pet Bob. The gate is closed and there is a kind of frame around the gate.
2018-03-07. It's hard to search food in the deep snow. But the Sami has food with him in bags. The reindeer are eating lichen.

2018-03-07. Four reindeer. I did not know the names of all the reindeer.

2018-03-07. The reindeer Blixten was allowed to go outside the pasture. He did not run away. Blixten saw the bag with food. But there was a  net around it so he could not take the food.
2018-03-07. Now Bob was on his way out of the pasture.

2018-03-07. The Sami and Bob. I asked if I could public his picture and he allowed me to do it. Bob was looking at the bag with lichen.

The Sami was so kind and he was good for his reindeer. He gave us bit of lichen and then we were allowed to feed the reindeer.

2018-03-07. I had a lovely time with the reindeer. :-)
