Valentine, the Day of the Hearts.

Me, Red Riding Hood, in the flower shop at Valentine Day. In front of the roses.
2012-02-13. Red Riding hood was walking in the woods.
2012-02-13. And of course the wolf came. A beautiful Golden Retriever name Leo.
When I was Green foxy in summer Leo was still a puppy. now he is a BIG "wolf".
2012-02-13. This is the dog Elsa. I had not seen her a long time and went happy to see her.
2012-02-13. Elsa also went happy. And she did like she did before. She went sitting on my boots. Ha, ha, ha sometimes I have ducks on my boots and now a dog :-)
2012-02-13. Leo was talking to another dog.
After that Lea was sitting in the deep snow. He likes snow very much and was also eating snow.
2012-02-13. Elsa standing in the snow.
2012-02-13. And sitting in the snow.
2012-02-13. Another Red Riding Hood in the woods.
2012-02-13. A litle house in the woods in the distance. Maybe Hans and Greta are living there ;)
2012-02-13. This fir tree looks funny.
2012-02-13. The benches are snowed over. The red pins are "plow pins" The plower need to know where he can plow.
2012-02-13. Much snow on the roof of a trash house.
2012-02-13. A big snow hill.

2012-02-13. A car under the snow.
2012-02-12.  Here the maintenance is taking down icicles with a long pin and a kind of pickaxe.
2012-02-12. Icicles.
2012-02-12. There were beautiful ice flower on the balcony window again
This is a picture taken December 2011. I was so sad. The worker had to take away the electric outlet because the holder of the new balcony plates should sit there. Then I could not have my Christmas lights on the balcony.
But then something happend. a worker cut a nice heart of sheet metal and put it on with a bolt cutter (clipper) on the hut of the scaffolding. This made me happy and gave me comfort.
I was thinking of hearts very much that Christmas. I bought his heart on a Christmas market.
I was eating gingerbread heart cookies. And gave the workers a big box of gingerbread heart cookies.
I had a gingerbread heart as dessert with a cup of coffee.
I hat this heart in the Christmas tree.
I had this heart in the tree too.
I had this heart by my computer.
This heart is a hand warmer. You just snap the metal thingy inside the gel, and somehow that sets off a chemical reaction, and you get this very warm pack for awhile. It hardens as it cools off, and you have to boil it  to get it soft again
I got this hear of a dear friend.
And today it was Valentine. We call this in Sweden for Alla Hjärtans dag = All hearts Day.
I bought candies with a heart on it.
The flower shop also had small plants in a heart shaped pot.
And they had this heart basket.
Or you could buy a bear and small hearts.
Left: I got tulip from a friend.  Right: I bought these tulips last Saturday and now I had 2 vases with wonderful tulips.
I took some pictures of different flowers in the flower shop.
It was wonderful to see flowers inside while there only is snow and ice outside.
Beautiful orchids.
Primula.
Yes outside it was cold. There was a lot of snow. the world was painted in black and white.
Inside it was warm and there were a lot of colours.
.
Lovely roses.
More roses. They were in a refrigerator.
.
.
.
He, he, red hooded me in the mirror. :-)
.
They had many tulips.
.
.
.
Oranges in the snow? No, the oranges are inside the shop and you can see the snow outside through the window.
It's cold outside. But these fir tree are pretty in "the Blue  Hour."
.
.
Sunset.
Sunset in the cold.
Buds of spring flowers in the flow shop. My red hood in the mirror behind the buds.
It hurts when the buds are bursting.
But at home things were happening. Ove had vacume cleaned the balcony after the electrician had been there.
And he had put up the electric outlet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Later a worker came and put in the new balcony matt.
Me in my red hooded jacket looking at the outlet.
The light came back!
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.                                                                            John 1:5
The weekend after this we celebrated the returning of the ligth with tulips named Irene.
And we celebrated it also with a good dinner
And vanilla ice cream with Spanish strawberries. :-)
Now I did remember the heart that worker made. It was a sign that things should work out some day. I got the light back on the balcony just on All Hearts Day.
