Ducks and birds by the river

river-2019-winter

Part 1. A cold day 2019-01-22

2019-01-22. It was -20° Celsius. A cold west wind was blowing. I made a walk by the river.
I left the park and walked to west.
There were only a few people on the path because of the cold. But I had my good Arctic jacket and did not freeze.
Frost on the lifebuoy. And the river was frozen. There was snow on the ice.
I saw ducks. That means there is still open water. But how did they get food?
I saw there was a bird feeder and a lot of food bird seed was on the ground. There were people who came with food.
A duck and two great tits.
Flying great tit.

It was so much fun to see the ducks and the birds.

On this path you can go to streets up hills.
Workers on a scaffolding. They will build a pylon for the new bridge.
But still it will take time before the bridge is ready.

The same scaffolding on the other side of the frozen river.
Ice and open water.
They are building a big house up hills.
I walked back and looked at the ducks and birds again.
