A walk to the ducks
again. | ||

| Happy me feeding the ducks. But this picture was taken 2013-02-21. Than I met someone who could take a picture of me. | ||

2013-03-14. This time it was cold
and I had my red Arctic jacket on. I fed the ducks with my left hand and took pictures
with my
right hand. I had the ducks around my legs and on my shoes :-) | ||

| It became warmer and slippery. I could not make so many walks on icy roads. The snow also went dirty and ugly because of the sand an grit on the roads. | ||

A short walk to the flower shop | ||

| 2013-03-28. I made a walk to the flower shop in our neighbourhood. I felt happy to see all the flowers. I was longing for the spring. | ||

2013-03-28. First it was thawing
and then it went VERY cold. So the snow did not melt and there were
icy places on the roads. On this picture bare ground and dirty snow walls. Here it was not slippery and I could make a walk to the flower shop that day. | ||

| 2013-03-28. It was icy around the house there I'm living. I could not reach the trash house. I was afraid to slip and fall. | ||

| 2013-04-03. This day it was worse. This kind of ice is called "svall-is" That means surge ice. Melted snow runs from the ground or hills on the street and then it's freezing. This is VERY dangerous. Spike overshoes will hardly stick in the ice. You should need climbing irons to stick in this. | ||

| 2013-03-28. I bought these miniature daffodils. Outside it was about -16 degrees Celsius a night. It was good to have som spring inside. | ||
