In the woods after the storm

At November 16, at night, we had a terrible storm. Trees were blown down in the Gammlia woods near home. I was walking here 2013-11-23. Then they still had no time yet to take away the trees from the path.
Me in the woods by the Sami house. There was no snow yet, but frost and white frost on different places.
2013-11-22. I walked in the woods in the afternoon. I had to hurry because at 3 o'clock PM it should be dark. Some small trees had tipped over in the storm.
2013-11-22. The pond was frozen and the ducks had moved.
2013-11-22. The sun was already going down.
2013-11-22. I made it to be a while in the woods. It became dark now, but I had the light in front of me.
2013-11-23. Today I walked in the woods in the morning. But the sun is only standing low this time of the year.
2013-11-23. A forest machine. They are making a track for the ski competition that will be in February 2014. The exercising path becomes a ski path when the snow comes.
2013-11-23. Some trees were taken down to make the path wider
2013-11-23. I walked the 3,2kilometre track.
2013-11-23. Oops! The path is blocked! The storm had taken down this tree.
2013-11-23. It was rather high to step over the tree. I walked a little bit inside the woods and walked around it. Then I also had the opportunity to take a picture from this side.
2013-11-23. Another tree on the path. But the path was not blocked, I could go around it.
2013-11-23. Now I passed the tree and you see the way I came from. I hope the forest workers soon can come an take away the trees from the path.
2013-11-23. This fallen tree is in the woods so we were not affected of it.
2013-11-23. Somebody put up a sign on a tree. This means:
I want to see your beauty
and feel your happiness.

2013-11-23. A neighbour told me 2 days ago she ha seen 3 roe deer  (Capreolus capreolus) by this swamp. This is a little deer that lives in Europe. They are very shy but sometimes you can have luck to see them.
2013-11-23. The  swamp was frozen. I was looking for the reo deer, but did not see any.
2013-11-23. I moved on and walked this path.
2013-11-23. The sun was shining so pretty through the trees.
2013-11-23. A big ant-heap under a tree.
2013-11-23. White frost on the rocks.
2013-11-23. Also these trees felt down because of the storm. I think this was sad because these 2 trees were so pretty.

2013-11-23. For many years ago when Lennart was a little boy, we had lemonade and buns while sitting on these rocks. Then it was a warm summer day. This is a nice memory. Today here is white frost on the rocks.
2013-11-23. Ice in a pit. It looks like art work.

2013-11-23. Ah my! Another tree is blocking the path. But his time I could step over it.
2013-11-23. A women was coming with a pram. I waited for her and help her to carry the pram over the tree.
2013-11-23. After that I was not bothered by fallen trees anymore. This little Christmas trees looks pretty in the low sunlight.
2013-11-23. White frost.
2013-11-23. It was beautiful to see the sunlight through the trees.
2013-11-23. There was white frost on the wooden reindeer. He still has not got new horns.
2013-11-23. The North Sami House.
2013-11-23. The south Sami House and a reindeer pasture.
2013-11-23. I saw this beautiful light in the woods. The light will always shine in the darkness.
2013-11-23. I made breaded fish and mashed potatoes to lunch.
In November and December we use to have a beautiful sunset. I took this picture 2013-10-12.
I lit my polar bear lamp. I got this lamp from Lennart at Christmas 2011. This dark time of the year we need a lot of lights.
