The woods and the
 Christmas market

2013-12-07. I'm Santa Mother in my red jacket standing behind Santa on the Christmas market at Gammlia. :-)
2013-12-07. We got snow. I felt happy to walk in the woods. I was on my way to the market. It was very cold and I needed my Arctic Fjällräven jacket. The fur on my hood is artificial.
2013-12-07. The wooden reindeer got a white blanket of snow.
2013-12-07 A Sami house in the woods.
2013-12-07. They made a fire by the Sami houses so we could warm ourselves.

2013-12-07. A pasture at Gammlia. But no animals can be there in winter. And the barn has no heating and is too cold for farmer animals. They only have animals here in summer.

2013-12-07. Down below some pictures of the Christmas market
2013-12-07. The person on the photo has the same Arctic jacket as I have. But this one is black.

Sorry I needed to cut in my pictures so no people come on the web. You need to ask them if they are too close on pictures.

2013-12-07. They hade horses beside the frozen pond.
2013-12-07. I could take a ride with the horse Ullika in the carriage.

2013-12-07. This is another horse.
2013-12-07. This horse was used for horseback riding.
2013-12-07. Ullika pulling the carriage. I was not in the carriage here. I had nobody to take a picture while I was in the carriage.
2013-12-07. I loved that horse. She was so calm and kind.
2013-12-07. Some more pictures of the market.
2013-12-07. The Sami were selling ceramic craft.

2013-12-07. It was wonderful to warm my hands. My gloves were too cold. I should have taken my mittens of wool with me to have over the gloves while I was not taking pictures.
2013-12-07. It was nice with the candles in the woods. Suddenly I heard a choir singing. "Gloria, Gloria". This sounded so beautiful wile i was walking in the woods.
I thought: There must be the angels who are singing just for me! But the choir was singing in the dance pavilion beside the woods.
2013-12-07. Me, Santa Mother felt very happy this day. But now I had to hurry home, it was getting dark. Also I had to send out Christmas cards and presents.
2013-12-23. We got snow and I was out in "the blue hour" to take pictures.
2013-12-24. And the lights were shining in the darkness.
2013-12-30. In the holidays I made a walk to the museum by Gammlia. I went there several times. Then I found this felted bear.  He, he, maybe this was the bear they saw in the Gamlia woods. It was best I bought him so he will not scare more people in the woods. ;-)
2013-12-31. New Years Eve it was snowing a little. Some small kids hurried out and made this snowman. But the snow disappeared again. We had this year no white Christmas and no white New Year.
