The darkness could not break me down. The light was shining on me. |

I was often walking in the woods, by the river or to the different
ponds. On my walks I could work out the
sadness I felt last winter when I could not have the light on
the balcony. One day I was walking in the woods. Then I saw a light of the sun that was shining through the trees. It was beautiful! Then I was thinking about how they in our condo took away the light on my balcony. This was so sad. But nobody can take away the light from heaven. The light is always shining on me. |

| Need to tell the whole story. My green jacket became purple in the purple light of the coloured lamp in the play ground. I felt amused. This was real cool :) | |

| It was November 2012 I was dreaming about a peaceful December with light on the balcony and many lights in the house. This picture taken 2006-12-09. Then we had not the tree up yet. But we had the small lamps and advent candles. | |

| Some years ago I got a yellow light rope from my son for Christmas. I felt so happy for it. And an electrician made an earth electric outlet on the balcony. I felt so happy that I could have light on the balcony. | |
 |
|
| Every year at the first Advent I put up the light rope on the balcony. And the neighbours told me they liked it so much. It was brightening up in the dark night. I was longing for to have it this year again. | |
 |
|
|
But we should get new balconies. Then the house there I live should be done last. :-( Now the workers should come to us in December. No light rope on my balcony this year. :-(
But why do we always have to get the workers JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS! That time of the year I will have peace in my home and have light ropes on my balcony. |

It was the same in the year 2004. Then we also were done last. The whole house was a mess and first the new windows were on the balcony. After that the old windows were on the balcony. You see the old ones the picture. The balcony work should not make a mess inside the apartment. But there was noise. No peace in December :-( |

| I made a lot of walks to find comfort. I passed the polar bears in front of the electric outfitter's shop. They said to me. "I see that you are looking a little sad. What happened?" I told them what happened. | |
 |
|
|
The polar bear
said to me: "Go in
into the store, there are 2 of our polar bear friends working. We are
sure they can help you" The polar bears in the store told me to turn on a lot of lights in the house. If not the neighbours can see your balcony they can see your nice lit windows. |

| Then I bought these lights for the hall. | |

| Blue lights in one of the windows. | |

| And white lights in the kitchen. | |
 |

| I also turned on my RBG lamp. That could change colour. | |
 |

| I walked out to the yard and saw this lantern in a garden. | |

| And I saw the purple light in the play ground. This year there was no snow yet in the beginning of November. | |
 |
|
| My hood became blue in the blue light. | |
 |

| I took the picture of this ice polar bear in town. Taken 2001-01-18 This sculpture was gorgeous. | |

| I was sitting by the fire in a Sami tent. Enjoying some hot coffee. And here I felt very happy. | |
 |

| The fire had a warm cosy light. I was looking in the fire. This was so peaceful. And it gave me strength. The light from the fire was shining on me. | |

| 2011-11-18. I also bought a light curtain with stars. We could not go out on the balcony while they did the work. | |

It was getting colder. Some plus degrees in day time. But in the
evening there was frost. I needed my warmer Greenland Parka jacket.
This one is not green, the colour is called: " Dark olive". 011-11-24. Dark Olive Foxy standing by the building place. I did not look happy today and said: "Look what happened!". |

| 2011-11-24. This happened! I knew it should happen. No balcony at Christmas time, no lights on the balcony. | |

| 2011-11-21. They had art lights in town. I went to the Sister City park. It was gorgeous there. They had different light in the trees and blue coloured light by the small bridges. | |

| 2011-11-21. In the Glass House they showed pictures of the light festival in the town Riga. You could see this while standing on the market place. I enjoyed the pictures very much. But it was cold and I was happy to have my new dark olive Greenland parka. | |

| 2011-11-24. I went to town and made a long walk and came to a little park there I saw a light on the ground. You should stand in the light and then tell your dreams to the two trees (only one tree is on the picture) | |

| 2011-11-24. I was standing in the light. I told my dreams to the trees. My dreams about summer when the flowers are in bloom and there is a lot of light. It made me calm to stand there and I felt I could move on. And I knew that even in the deepest darkness there is was light. And the light is shining on me. | |

| One of the workers cut a Christmas heart of sheet metal and put it on the scaffolding. Now the scaffolding was decorated with a Christmas heart. That made me happy, it was so funny. He, he, he ;) | |

| I got a gingerbread cookie and then I remembered I gave the workers a jar with gingerbread hearts like I have in my hand. 'On this picture I had not my hair done, but who cares, I felt happy on this picture :). | |

| 2012-12-21. Big candles. It's not real fire. The flames are made of plastic with a lamp inside and the plastic is flapping so it looked like a flame. | |

| 2012-12-09. I met Santa Claus on the Christmas market. He was very kind and he made me happy. | |

The balcony was
ready. But the
electrical outlet
was not put back. The workers told me that the electrician must put
it back. He had done wrong and not moved this outlet that was
installed for many years ago. The outlet could not be on the place
there the holder for the new balcony plate should be. The workers told me that they given the electrician the measure where it must be installed on the wall. And I needed an outlet for the Christmas light. Ove called the electrician but he never came to correct it. :-(
I just succeeded to accept the mess with the balconies. And tried to follow the advice of my friends. And I had been so happy that the workers done so good work and made the balcony ready before Christmas. AND NOW THIS! Now all neighbours could have light on their balconies but not me :-( I hope you who read this understand how it felt. |

| Also the blind in the living room was broken. It was too cold to repair it. Now it was dusk in the room in day time. :-( | |

| 2012-12-20. I heard somebody calling. "Hello Dark Olive Foxy. Why is your head hanging down. What happened? | |

| 2012-12-20. I looked and then I saw a snowman! He said: "Hello my name is Frosty" I went happy to see him. I was not alone on the yard. I had a friend. | |
 |
|
| 2012-12-20. A picture of me and Frosty. Frosty the snowman made me happy by giving me the light. Frosty told me to go shopping tomorrow and enjoy the lights in town. | |

| 2011-12-07. The polar bears were indoors today and there was a nice tree and presents with lights. | |

| 2012-12-21. The next day I did what Frosty told me. I went shopping. But first we had lunch in a Japanese restaurant. There was a tomte (Santa) with a kind smiling face in the window. | |

| I bougtht this nice heart on the Christmas market. | |

was Christmas Eve. My son Lennart helped me to take pictures with my camera
while I was laying the table for the Christmas dinner. He had the
camera on a tripod. Aw there was a BIG packet under the tree...... |

in my red Santa jacket. But also Sante has wishes. I was wishing the LIGHT for Christmas. |

package under the tree was for me! When I opened it I saw there was
an animal looking at me. It was ......aw ... it was a polar bear
lamp. Oh my! I went so touched so I started to cry. I needed to stop myself
from crying! I got the light for Christmas! |
