The darkness could not break me down. The light was shining on me |

| Here I was not green. I was walking under the coloured lamp in the play ground. Then my jacket became purple. Real cool :) | |

| I was dreaming about a peaceful December with light on the balcony and many lights in the house. This picture taken 2006-12-09. Then we had not the tree up yet. But we had the small lamps and advent candles. | |
 |

| Some years ago I got a yellow light rope from my son for Christmas. I went so happy for it. And an electrician made an earth electric outlet on the balcony. I felt so happy that I could have light on the balcony. | |
 |
|
| Every year at the first Advent I put up the light rope on the balcony. And the neighbours told me they liked it so much. It was brightening up in the dark night. I was longing for to have it this year again. | |
 |
|
|
We should get new balconies. It was decided in the condo committee that they should draw a lot which house should be done first, second etc. Then the house there I live was the last one. :-( Now the workers should come to us in December. No ligth rope on my balcony this year. :-( This is not our house. (I made this site before December) But it will look the same later when they come to us. The workers are very kind and they are real skilled. It will be nice later to have a new balcony. But why do we always have to get the workers JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS! That time of the year I will have peace in my home and have light ropes on my balcony. |

It was the same in the year 2004. Then we also came last. Then there was no lottery. It was the committee who decided it. The whole house was a mess and the new windows were on the balcony. After that the old windows were on the balcony. You see the old ones the picture. Also that time it was nice to get new windows and also that time we had kind and skilled workers. They worked hard to get it get it ready for Christmas. So at least I could get my lamps on the balcony just for Christmas Eve. The balcony work will not make a mess inside the apartment. But it's not sure that our balconies be ready before Christmas. But it will be noisy so there will not be peace in my home. |

It seems to be Murphy's law. If
things can go wrong it goes wrong. On this picture a server I cal for "Bad Murphy" It's stading in a weird basement. |

I made a lot of walks to find
comfort. I passed the polar bears in front
of the electric outfitter's shop. They said to me. "I see that you
are looking a little sad. What happened?" I told them what happened. But also told them I only was sad for the balconies and that I was happy for all kind of positive things like my walks in nature, my family and my friends, my computer and my CD music. |

The polar bear
said to me: "Go in
into the store, there are 2 of our polar bear friends working. We are
sure they can help you" The polar bears in the store told me to turn on a lot of lights in the house and in the windows.. If not the neighbours can see your balcony they can see your nice lights in the windows. |

| Then I bought these lights for the hall. | |

| And white lights in the kitchen. It was not Advent yet. So the advent candles were not up yet. | |

| I also turned on my RBG lamp. That could change colour. | |

| I turned on my small table lamps, wall lamps and window lamps. lamps. Some of them were bought many years ago. | |

| I turned on the blue window lamp. Here you can see the crescent moon outside :). | |

| I walked out to the yard and saw this lantern in a garden. | |
 |

| And I saw the purple light in the play ground. This year there was no snow yet in the beginning of November. | |

| I was sitting by the fire in a Sami tent. Enjoying some hot coffee. And here I felt very happy. | |

| The fire had a warm cosy light. I was looking in the fire. This was so peaceful. And it gave me strength. | |

2011-11-18.
I also bought a light curtain with stars. Later there will be
an advent candle behind the chair. That's why I have no light
curtain
on the other side. But it's too early to put up the advent

| It was getting colder. Some plus degrees in day time. But in the evening there was frost. I needed my warmer Greenland Parka jacket. This one is not green, the colour is called: " Dark olive". | |

| 2011-11-21. I went to town and liked these light reindeer very much | |

| 2011-11-21. The town put up the art with autumn lights on different places in town. I started at 14.30 o'clock. Then it's getting dark in November. It's easier to take pictures when the lights are on and it's not real dark yet. | |

| 2011-11-21. I went to the Sister City park. It was gorgeous there. they had different light in the trees and a blue colour by the small bridges. | |

| 2011-11-21. But it was -3 degrees Celsius, there was white frost in the grass. Also on the bridges. I could not cross the bridges it was very slippery on the bridge and I had no spike shoes with me. | |

| 2011-11-21. It was beautiful with the red bridge and the blue tree. Here you can see the white frost on the grass. I was lucky that it not was real dark yet. Otherwise I could not have taken these pictures. | |

| 2011-11-23. We put up the advent candles now, because the next day the lifting crane should came and put up the scaffolding. I wanted to have a picture of all the lights while the balcony still was nice. There is also an advent candle in the living room. But you can't see it. It's behind the railing. | |

This happened! I knew
it should happen. No balcony at Christmas time, no lights on the
balcony. Ove is looking at the workers from the balcony. We still were allowed to go there. First on Monday when they take away the railing they will lock the balcony doors. |

| 2011-11-24. I went to town and made a long walk and came to a little park there I saw a light on the ground. You should stand in the light and then tell your dreams to the two trees (only one tree is on the picture) | |

| 2011-11-24. I was standing in the light. I told my dreams to the trees. My dreams about summer when the flowers are in bloom and there is a lot of light. It made me calm to stand there and I felt I could move on. And I knew that even in the deepest darkness there is was light. And the light is shining on me. | |
