Summer adventures
in my old Greenland jacket

 
1977. Me on Hurtigruten boat in Trollfjorden in Norway. Then I was young. I had my old Fjällräven jacket on. But that year the jacket was brand new. I got it from Ove at Christmas 1976.
1977. We took the train north to the town Luleå. There was the bus waiting for us. Ove was pointing so funny on the bus :-D
1977. We firs were to a the rapid Storforsen. in the Pete River. That's in Sweden in the province Norrbotten.
1977. The was a place there the water was deep. And you could jump down from the rocks in the water. Somebody is just jumping.
1977. They made it easy to walk around and had fences on different places for the safety.

1977. We lived in cabin on a mountain in the town Gällivare.
1977. Me by the door, but you hardly can see me.
1977. There is a road that goes up on the mountain named "Dundret." We went there by taxi and could look at the midnight sun. The sun did not go down.
1977. It was very cold. The others were sitting in the cars and looking at the midnight sun. But we both were outside. We had our good Fjällräven windproof clothes both trousers and jacket.

1977. We all in the group got on the train to Narvik. A beautiful train trip through the mountains.

1977. On this railroad there also go trains that freight ore. Some weeks ago there happened an accident. The  train derailed! It should take time to get away the broken train.
1977. We came to Norway.
1977. We were high up in the mountains. The view was stunning!

1977. Now we were with the bus on a ferry boat.
1977. We came to the town Svolvær.
1977. Our bus goes from the ferry. We had to leave the bus while we were on the ferry.
1977. The church was on a hill. Our hotel is the white house behind the church.
1977. We made a trip to a lighthouse. Ove on the lighthouse.

1977. We should go in land here. I don't remember in what town this was. I did not write journal about the trip.
1977. We went to Saltströmmen. People can go fishing here.
