2014-07-25. Ove took this picture of my by the new overflow and reflecting pond.
2014-07-12. The water is overflowing on some places in this pond and comes in a groove and then it goes back to the pond.

2014-07-12. The pond taken from the other side. The ground is slooping and that's why the side in distance is lower and near me it's higner.
2014-07-12. The name of the park is Rådhusparken. This building is Rådhuset. Before it was a town hall. Now there is a restaurant inside.

The building is listed because of historical and architectural importance

2014-07-12. This is the other side of Rådhuset taken from the market place. I only had a winter picture of this.
This building is nowadays the town hall (Stadshuset) there the administration and the governing of our town are. Umeå Kommun means Umeå township.
2014-07-12. The Rådhus park has been here in many years. It has a round pond with a fountain.
2014-07-12. But they made a new park by the river that was opened summer 2014. Also this is called Rådhusparken. It's the meaning the old an new park is one park.
2014-07-12. I will show pictures both the old and the new park. Observe that the old park still is there and the new park was ready in 2014.

2014-07-12. In the new park they had plant lilac, purple and blue flowers. I don't know what kind of trees these are. Never seen them in town before.

2014-07-12.This building with the tower was before a power station. Later it became a fire station. Now there are offices in it. The building is listed.

2014-09-10. One night somebody put a roach in the pond. ther gardener of our town had to take away the roach. It should not survive here.
2014-09-10. I met some retired people this day by the pond. And we were talking and laughing together about the roach :-)
2014-09-19. What happen with the round pond? There is snow in it. Is this some event for the Culture Capital???

2014-09-19. I found out it was NOT snow. It was foam!

I met the Head gardener and she told they had put washing-up detergent in the pond last night. They shot off the fountain and should later clean up.
2014-09-19. I enjoyed the river and the sparkles of the sun in the water.

I was happy I could go to the park again. After this day I took walks to places I never had been and it should take a long time before I could go to this park again.
