The stores at Strömpilen
 
2015-07-21. Me by the Ume River on the area there the stores are. The place is called Strömpilen.

The map of Strömplilen by the river. There are stores and the big grocery store ICA Maxy. They named the area "Strömpilen" is because of the river and the railroad that goes in the area.

Ström = stream = the river.
Pilen is arrow = The train that goes fast as an arrow.

I have worked at the area for the university. I had my office there I put in a X. I could from my office window see "The Blue Road" and the railway. And see the trains coming. But the office house is torn down. Because it was in a bad condition. The working place was in different houses so we had to go out to the houses. As I was helping the teachers with the computer I was walking to the different houses.

The road E4 goes over the Kolbäck bridge.

I had to take two different buses to come to work. Also to walk a bit from the bus to work. So I had to travel a long time to work, and home from work.

This building was in former times a factory. They renovated it and now there are stores in the building.

El Giganten is a big radio and TV store. But they also are selling  mobile phones, computers and other electronics.

They build boat houses. But these were not for boats. They were used for my work. The teachers had their office in the houses. So I worked in these houses too. I was helping the teachers with the computer.
These boathouse were pretty inside. And they were lying near the river. It was real fun to be here.

My work moved from this area to the campus area. Now the houses are used by different companies.
My work moved to this house that was lying by the woods. Now we did not need go between the different houses anymore. And we were in town instead of being outside town. We had all the things on the same place.  And I could walk to work.

This picture was taken 2005-07-20. This is the house that before was a factory but now there are stores.

Also this  house belonged to my work. There were computer labs. So I worked in this house too. Later after my work moved, a company moved into the house. And our son was working for the company. So he worked in the same house as I worked before :-)
After my work moved there were companies in the house.
