Early spring

To the hospital in Stockholm
Part 2

This is part 2 about my trip to the hospital in Stockholm. As I already told: Most pictures are about the trip and only a few pictures are showing me in the hospital. I did NOT take pictures of doctors or nurses or other people. You may  not do this and it should be very impolite to do this.
 
Today I had the surgery. After I was anesthetized, I did not know anything, I did not dream. I did not know there were doctors and instruments. Time was not existing anymore. But God the creator of heaven and earth was watching over me.

When I awoke  had no pain. And  did not feel nausea. I just was lying there and sleeping, sleeping, sleeping. I felt I was in nature and enjoying the spring flowers. Later the doctor said to me I can walk in nature again this summer.
I had a big plaster on my back. Ove took this picture when I was home again.
I had much pain and felt weak. I was not allowed to sit up or go up. I hade to lie down until the next day. This was hard.

But they cared very well for me in the hospital. The nurses were so kind. The doctor was kind too.

2016-04-07
I was happy when they told I could sit up again. I had califlower soup to lunch.
A friend of mine who lives in Stockholm visited me. Her nice jacket is lying on my bed. She has the same ecco shell jacket as I.   But I had not that jacket with me.

We hade fun and I put on my green jacket and said: Now I can go home :-D
My ecco shell jacket is orange. My friend is also interested of outdoor life and photographing.
My room mate got roses. Then I took a picture of them.
I had to train walking and did this with a high walker. Ove took the picture when he visited me. I did well in walking and loved it.
I could see the bus stop from the window. Ove was standing in the rain and got on the buss. I hated to see him go.

2016-04-08
Today the doctor told me I could go home. Now I could not go by bus and train to Arlanda. I had much pain and needed a taxi.
I took this picture from the taxi.
I liked it to see the horses in the pasture.

We were flying higher.
We approached Umeå.

I could not go on the staircase. They had to transport me in the wheel chair by en elevator.

I want to tell my funny story why the whole  staff and the pilot of the plane were looking at me. They were wondering what was going on. The elevator with me the wheel chair was stuck. And here I was sitting between heaven and earth.

I could not stop laughing about this. :-D
It was cold on the airport. But I had my wind proof jacket and my hood on, so I did not freeze. The staff was gone but the pilot still was there. And it was me who blocked the way to his plane :-D
At least the man succeeded to get loss the elevator and finally I was on the ground.

Last summer I walked home from here. And that was a long walk.
The bridge we were driving on. I took this picture last summer.
The taxi arrived by our door.  Home sweet home!
2016-04-11. I started my walking training with the walker
Near a house in shelter I found crocus. The firs sign of spring.
2016-04-13. Vi got frost and it started snowing. But I was well dressed.
I had a sit pad I could have on the walker when I needed to sit.
2016-05-04. I bought a new back pack. The purple colour is in real darker as on the picture.
