Autumn
Me feeding a duck. But this picture is taken by the campus pond. Ove took this picture.
Mariehem is a district here in town. There are also fields for sport and recreation, a pond with ducks, sheep, wild flowers and woods.

2017-09-26. I was so happy to see the ducks again. Soon they have to move.

2017-10-12.  I saw a pigeon, but had never seen such a pigeon before. I asked a friend for help. 

The friend told me this:
"It is a pigeon, but a "fancy pigeon", as in one that is bred to look like that. I'm fairly sure it's what they call a Jacobin Pigeon (they were named after the Jacobin order of monks who date from 1100 and were known for their distinctive hooded habits). They all have that sort of ruffled hood. This belongs to somebody, probably a collector and it has flown away. I hope it finds it's way home again before winter comes."
2017-10-12. Yes, I really hope the pigeon can return to the owner.

2017-10-12. The ducks were around my feet, and they were standing on my new shoes sometimes. I think they like my shoes. No they like the bread :-D

2017-10-12. I always use to take a rest on the parking lot and then sitting on the rock.

2017-10-19. The weather was sonny and chilly. But no snow. I went to the ducks again. This duck said "QUACK" when she saw my coming.
2017-10-19. The others heard her and came swimming to me. :-)
2017-10-19. The ducks were hungry. But this time they dare not to come near my feet.
2017-10-19.  The duck donw on the picture said "Quack, quack". That means: "Thank you for the food" :-)

I said goodbye to the ducks. This is probably the last time this year I could meet them. Soon the snow and ice will come, and then the ducks has to move.
