Autumn Part 4
The river
2018

 

I made some autumn walks by the river. I want to share this in part 4.
I took this picture 2017-06-21. Then it was raining. I needed my orange rain-shell jacket.
At 2018-09-25 The rain was pouring down. But I had my orange rain jacket. No problems with the rain. :-)
2018-09-25. Maples in the distance.
2018-09-25. I was alone in the park.
2018-09-25. But enjoyed the colours in the rain.
2018-09-25. People avoid the rain but I did not. "There is no bad weather, only bad clothes".  :-)

At 2018-10-01. I made a walk by the river to west in my green jacket in nice weather. I walked on this path.
2018-10-01. I walked to Lundåker. About 3 kilometres from the city. I took this picture from the old bridge.
2018-10-01. I went down on this staircase to the path.
2018-10-01. As always, it was lovely to be by the river.
2018-10-01. It's so peaceful on this path.

2018-10-01. This path goes uphill to the street. But I did not walk this path.
2018-10-01. I moved on to west.
2018-10-01. There were Canada geese on the other side of the river.
2018-10-01. As the river it wide I had to use the telephoto lens.
2018-10-01. It was so exciting to see the geese.

2018-10-01. Some trees were still green.

2018-10-01. The walking trail is named "Ume Älvdal". (Ume river valley)
2018-10-01. The Lundåker marina. But the boats were taken away for the winter.

We launched our kayak here for many years ago when we were young. Me by the kayak.

2018-10-01. The path to a building area. They are building a bike- and walking bridge so we can cross the river to the islets named Bölesholmarna.
2018-10-01. Autumn leaves.
2018-10-01. The building area. The bridge should have been ready in 2018. But there were problems with the ground. So they had to work a longer while to fasten the pylons. I felt so disappointed. I thought I could have walked this year over the new bridge. But not.
2018-10-01. The bridge will look like this when it's ready.

2018-10-01. I walked back again. It was gorgeous with the yellow birches and the blue river.

2018-10-01. I saw more Canada geese.
2018-10-01. Now I'm on my way back to the city.

2018-10-01. I met a couple who own this cute dog. :)
2018-10-01. I was talking with the man and the woman while sitting on the bench. The dog was sitting beside us.
2018-10-01. I came back to town and passed the boat Sandkär. Last year I was  in that boat with a group of people. We had shrimps to lunch there.
2018-10-01. Tree sparrows.
2018-10-05. I walked in the park by the river. It was raining this day.
2018-10-05. I don't know the name of these berries.
2018-10-05. The leaves looks like a rowan.
2018-10-05. I often was sitting on this bench looking at the ducks in the river. Soon they will take the benches indoors for the winter.

2018-10-05. The dark clouds disappeared, the sky was blue again.
2018-10-12. Today the sky was grey. There was fog at night.
2018-10-12. I went to the library in the culture house. The word "bibliotek" means library. After been there I took a walk in the park by the river.
2018-10-12. There were 11 ducks on the grey river. That made me happy :-)
2018-10-12. But these ducks did not come in land.
2018-10-12. Soon they have to move to the south.
2018-10-12. Despite of the dark weather there were still were bright colours.

2018-10-12. Some trees had lost their leaves. But look, a lost glove is "growing" on the tree. ;-)

2018-10-13. Another cloudy day. The river was grey, but there were bright autumn colours.
2018-10-15. A dark and cloudy day. I walked down to the river.
2018-10-15. Despite of the darkness, the autumn colours were gorgeous.
2018-10-15. The ducks came in land. As they had not done this before, I never took food with me to the river.
2018-10-15. It was so much fun to see them walking in the park. They should have come to me if I had food.
