Midsummer at Gammlia

Horse ride

2013-06-21. This was a happy Midsummer for me. I had a horse ride  in the carriage. Me in the carriage.
2013-06-21. On our way to Gammlia I saw this beautiful tree.
2013-06-21. We saw a squirrel in the Gammlia woods. It was sitting on the reindeer fence (yellow arrow) Unfortunately it just disappeared just before I took the picture.
2013-06-21. They had horses at Gammlia. At the left the horse Dansa (means dance) At the right the horse Ullika who pulled the carriage..
2013-06-21. Dansa did not like it when Ullika was riding from this place into the woods.

2013-06-21. Now Ullika should pull me in the carriage.  Here we  go!

2013-06-21. Ove took this picture of me at the National day. But I did the same ride at Midsummer. Ove was on another place at Gammlia at Midsummer.

2013-06-21. I pet Ullika and said. "Thank you for the ride.
2013-06-21. Dansa was upset again when Ullika made another ride in the woods.
2013-06-21. She was following Ullika a bit in the pasture.
2013-06-21. She saw Ullika coming back.
2013-06-21. Here Ullika comes.

Midsummer celebration

2013-06-21.  Me at Midsummer.
2013-06-21. The may pole was lying down dressed with leaves. You could dress the may pole with flowers.
2013-06-21. When the may pole was ready, some people raised it.
2013-06-21. They have a long stick to raise it. Others are holding in the pole down below.

2013-06-21. Raised. We all were clapping hands and cheering.

2013-06-21. On our way home we saw a bumble bee sitting in a dog rose.

2013-06-22. The next day the rain was pouring down. And I was alone walking at Gammlia. I felt happy the weather was nice yesterday and so many people could enjoy the midsummer celebration.
2013-06-22. I was alone in the woods too in the rain. But I enjoyed my rain walk.
