Geese, ducks
and sheep
Part 3

 

More walks to the Mariehem pond.
2013-07-03. When I came on the road in the woods I saw gorgeous fireweed.
2013-07-03. They were looking so bright when the sun was shining on them.
2013-07-03. I took several pictures of them.

2013-07-03. I'm glad I took so many pictures because now, while making the site, they have bloomed over.
2013-07-03.  Now the meadowsweet was in bloom.
2013-07-03. Word Finder gave these flowers also the name: "Queen of the meadow". That's a nice name.

2013-07-03. And the male duck. He is loosing more white feathers and the green colour from the head.
2013-07-03. The geese were still on the island
2013-07-03. Gulls in the pond.
2013-07-03. Gulls in the grass. They are all looking in the same direction. How funny.

2013-07-03. The mother with her 3 ducklings was still there.

2013-07-03. Now I found out why the geese were most on the island. They had goslings there. First today I could see them in the telephoto lens. But they were rather big now.

2013-07-03. I passed the pasture but the sheep were not back here. But they were not in the other pasture neither.

They were GONE! Was the owner afraid for his sheep because there was a bear in the Gammlia woods, and took home them to the farm?

2013-07-03. I passed the fields. The town workers had just cut the grass. Beautiful clouds.

2013-07-03. I saw this bird in the woods. I think it's a thrush.
2013-07-03. When I came to the streets with the gardens, I saw a red ball rolling downhill's. It stopped here. There were no children. the ball must have "escaped" from a garden.
2013-07-06. This day the big goslings were in the water

2013-07-06. The geese came to me and wanted my food.
2013-07-06. I was happy they finally wanted my food.  But I think the geese had been busy with protecting the goslings and then did not come.

2013-07-06. This is a basket for the Frisbee sport. But it had tipped over.
2013-07-06. This day the sheep were back. That made me happy

2013-07-06. One sheep said "Baaa" and one was looking at me.
2013-07-06. A sheep came to me.
2013-07-06. Then another sheep came to me too
2013-07-06. I gave them some grass. I was not sure the sheep took it.
2013-07-06. I threw the grass over the fence. Then the sheep was eating of it.
2013-07-06. I wander if they wanted more or only were curious.
2013-07-06. There was still a lot of grass to them in this pasture.
2013-07-06. A sheep was thirsty and drinking water.
2013-07-06. Now the flowers in the woods I saw before, were in bloom.
2013-07-12. The geese were in the water.
2013-07-12. These are tame ducks.
2013-07-12. The goose was flapping with the wings.
2013-07-12. One geese was drinking.
2013-07-12. Gulls and the 3 goslings on land.
2013-07-12. But the goslings never came for food.
2013-07-12. Some boys who had food. They just walked away and the ducks an geese wanted to follow them for more.
2013-07-12. But I had food and then they came to me.
2013-07-12. The white adult goose got food too.
2013-07-12. Flap, flap, flap! It looks like the goose is dancing :-)
2013-07-12. Two tame ducks.
2013-07-12. I moved on and I saw this wagtail by the path.
2013-07-12. Today the sheep were very lazy. It had been warmer.
2013-07-12. And they had more wool now.
2013-07-12. Relaxing in the grass.
2013-07-12. Zzzzzzz.
2013-07-12. The sheep have a shelter house in both pastures.
2013-07-12. This one was very lazy.
2013-07-12. I moved on through the woods to the fields.
2013-07-12. Again I enjoyed the nice fireweeds.
2013-07-12. And enjoyed the small harebells (bluebells) I love these flowers.
