Christmas Eve 1 2010-12-24
 

 

 
2010-12-24.   Santa Rödluvan's bag was empty. Everyone had got a package.
A coloured light rope that Lennart gave to me for Christmas some years ago.
Tomtar (Santa) tigers and a cardinal.
Cute penguins.
The advent candle and artificial flowers.
The Christmas table. Called" Julbord" in Swedish.
We had delicious food.
Yummy.

I got a package from the USA.
Look there is a spike in package.  :-D
The spike and some tiny glitter, santa figures reindeer. All these glitter were flying out from the package. This was so funny.
A wonderful painted duck on a letter-knife, a nice ornament for the tree and a spike :-)
And a nice penguin tree.
Also this wonderful art tiger was in the package. I loved all the presents from the package.
I collected all the glitter and had them in a box. They were beautiful.

Ove and me got small ducks on a rope and you can light them with batteries.

I got this tiger calendar from Ove.
I also got a cat calendar.
The beautiful calendar was handmade by a friend in the USA. There were a lot of wonderful photo's in it.
I made this calendar herself with my own taken favourite pictures..
Me showing 2 packages. Ove is holding in  3 mugs. One mug to him, one mug to Lennert and one mug to me.
They are "occupation mugs" for a computer tech. Both Ove and I worked with computers before and Lennart works with computers too.

I has a wonderful memory about these mugs.
It was 2010-07-16. Then it was summer and warm. I made a long walk and walked over the bridge and enjoyed the river. I came to the other side of the river and went to the store Expo. There I bought the 3 mugs.  And saved them for Christmas.
Lennart got a funny round package.
It contained the penguin bowling that I bought in town at Lagerhaus.
Lennart was smiling :)
He put up the penguins.
And he rolled the ball and "whoops!" One penguin tipped over :-)

We put the wrapping in black bags and went to the trash house.  We do recycle all things in different bins. Lennart emptied the bag in the bin for paper and cardboard.
It was cold. Lennart has no motor heater here. He started the car and it worked. He has a good car.

I got this from Ove. You can put a hot pan on it.
Ove got these spoons for Christmas from friends.
I got this water bottle and glass from work. They are made of recycled glass.
And there is a picture of a tap on the bottle and the glass.
A dish cloth with a reindeer. The text says: Keep the dishes clean.

But in Swedish this is funny because "ren" means  "clean" but it also means "reindeer" :-)
I got a present card for a CD from Ove and one from Lennart. and 2 small towels. There are compressed small towels in these packages. You need to open the package and take away the picture. Then you put the compressed towel in water and it will swell and be a little towel.

Now they are ready. These are small face towels.
